Here's the flag described to me as the Regional River
Patrol flag. I
have no clue what the RRP is, but do think I possibly saw the flag on a
patrol
boat. The flag I saw was wrapped around it's pole making it hard to see.
However, if forced to guess, I would say this is the flag I saw. It is
square
and measured roughly 2 x 2 feet. This particular one
that I photographed was unfinished.
Several
inches of the top of this particular flag is folded back over the top of the
display case.

Clay mentioned part of the flag in the photo was folded over, so in order to
make the seven stripes work with the position (presumably central) of the large
star, I had to arrange the stripes in the RBWBWBWB at the ratio 5-1-1-1-1-1-1-1.

This flag in question belongs to the
Coastal Region Command, primarily covering the region of Tanintharyi.
I have not seen a cloth flag (besides what we already have), yet there
is a drawing used by the military showing the pattern we have here but in a 2x3 ratio. I could not make
it out clearly with the star pattern. This is one of fourteen Regional
Military Commands (RMC) present in the Myanmar Army (Tatmadaw Kyi).
